THIS IS A CONVERSE COUNTY WYOMING ABANDONED VEHICLE AUCTION. This vehicle was abandoned on a public highway or property in Converse County Wyoming and removed/impounded pursuant to Wyoming law (W.S. 31-13-101 et seq.). It is being sold through Public Surplus online auctions by the Converse County Sheriff’s Office as permitted under state statutes governing abandoned vehicles. Inspection of this vehicle prior to the close of the auction must be scheduled with the auction contact person, typically Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM through 4:00 PM. While anyone can view the auction, the owner or lienholders have the right to redeem vehicles the first 10 business days of the auction, after which bidding will open and the vehicle will be sold to the highest bidder . All abandoned vehicles are sold on an "as is, where is" basis, without any warranties or guarantees, express or implied. This includes, but is not limited to, warranties of fitness for sale, fitness for a particular purpose, condition, mileage, roadworthiness, mechanical status, title status, or the absence of defects, whether apparent or hidden. Buyers are advised to conduct an in-person inspection of the vehicle(s), if possible, or to arrange for a third-party inspection prior to placing a bid. We do not make any representations or warranties regarding the vehicle’s operability, history, or suitability for any specific use. Please be aware that these vehicles were previously abandoned and may have sustained damage from exposure, towing, storage, or vandalism. Most vehicles will not have keys and may require significant repairs. Any property abandoned within the vehicle must remain with the vehicle. The only authorized method for retrieving a vehicle from the Converse County abandoned vehicle lot is with a flatbed truck, flatbed trailer, or tow truck. Mechanical work on the vehicle is not permitted within the lot outside of loading operations. The seller assumes no liability for issues that may be discovered after the sale, including but not limited to mechanical problems, missing parts, or residual personal property. A Sheriff’s Certificate of Sale will be provided, and Wyoming vehicle titling will be processed in accordance with the Converse County Public Surplus Online Sales Terms and Conditions. Every Vehicle must be titled through the Converse County Clerk's Office before it will be released. The titling process requires payment of a $10.00 VIN inspection fee and a $15.00 title fee. Buyers are responsible for payment of the winning bid amount, applicable taxes, and the Public Surplus buyer premium within five (5) business days of the Notice of Award. The former owner, any lienholders, or parties entitled to possession have no further rights to the vehicle after the sale, and all prior liens/encumbrances are typically extinguished under Wyoming law. Bidders participate at their own risk. The seller reserves the right to cancel or withdraw any vehicle from the auction at any time.
