Unit 16427 - 2016 Ford F-150, 4x2, Reg cab 3.5L V6, tires LT245/70R17. Unit was taken out of service per Metra Replacement Policy. Vehicle was driven into the turn in location however Metra recommends that the unit be towed or trailered out. Has service cap on bed with dual doors, keys for locks may be missing and/or locks inop. Was used by janitorial crews for yard and warehouse clean up. Metra has not serviced the unit recently so we don't know the status of all operations. Body as some rust, there is an amber strobe. Wipers inop, front driver's side wheel well and hood has damage, hood hard to open, and has some peeling paint. Cap cabinets rusted out. Unit was heavily used daily. Rather than do any repair Metra decided to retire the vehicle. Although the unit runs Metra recommends it be towed or trailered out.
